Everything you need to know about the train disruption in Croydon this weekend
Weekend engineering works are taking place across a number of services through Croydon this weekend.
Southern Rail have to alter services to allow Network Rail to complete the planned work.
The journeys that will be affected are:
Today (Saturday) and Sunday will see bus replacements between Purley and Caterham.
Bus replacements will be in place between Sutton and Dorking on Sunday as work takes place between Ewell East and Leatherhead, closing some lines. The London Victoria to Epsom services will not run.
Works taking place between Three Bridges and Billingshurst will close all lines and bus replacement services will run between both stations on Sunday. Trains between London Bridge and Horsham will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport. Trains between London Victoria and Bognor Regis will terminate at Gatwick Airport.
And on Sunday, due to work taking place between London Bridge and South Bermondsey and West Croydon, all lines will be closed.
Trains between London Bridge and Horsham will be diverted to start from London Victoria, calling as booked from East Croydon.
Trains will only run as far as Gatwick Airport. Trains between London Bridge and Tonbridge will operate between Redhill and Tonbridge.
Trains between London Bridge and East Croydon (via Peckham Rye) will operate between Tulse Hill and Tattenham Corner. Trains between London Bridge and and Crystal Palace (via Peckham Rye) / West Croydon will be replaced by buses.
