An alternative Tube map has been created for cyclists in London

Having a greener, healthier commute has just been made easier with a new, alternative map of London which shows the capital’s best cycle routes.

The map, which looks similar to the Tube map, shows all the different routes you and your bike could take when getting around London.

It includes key destination points, like Covent Garden, Westminster and Leicester Square, and shows the quickest, safest route to reach each spot.

Cycle Superhighways are shown alongside Quietways, and indications of traffic volumes are also shown.

There is also a useful chart available which shows how long it takes to get from A to B, and for those who don’t own a bike there is information about where you can hire a bike.

The map, which was originally launched last year by Route Plan Roll, has recently been given a revamp, inspired by the Tube map.
